Karina is an artist working in textiles and illustration, drawing inspiration from traditional European folklore, classical narratives, and her Welsh heritage. Her work seamlessly blends a deep reverence for history, traditional craft techniques, and the timeless art of storytelling. For Karina, the creative process is as much about exploring her chosen themes as it is about the tactile act of making. She immerses herself in the narratives she brings to life, conducting thorough research to create pieces that speak to both the rich traditions of the past and the sensibilities of the present.
